Title:
Site: set base font size to 1em for all site schemes

Area:
site schemes

Summary:
In Tropospherical (i.e. the default site scheme) the font size is currently set to .75em, which, imo, is very small. Set it to 1em instead so that it uses browsers' defaults.

Description:
I have to set a minimum font size in my browser to be able to read some sites and I wish Dreamwidth weren't one of them.

N.B. For technical info, body is set to 100% but #canvas is set to 0.75em. In effect, all content in Tropo uses this size as a base.

Title:
Specify default tags for mobile posts

Area:
mobile posting

Summary:
Currently, it's possible to specify a default icon to be used when posting by email, as well as default settings for the new entry's security and comments. I'm suggesting that it would also be good to be able to specify a default tag (or set of tags) to be used if other tags aren't specified.

Description:
When posting by email, it's possible to tweak all (I think) of the various settings - icon, security, music, and so on - associated with that entry by including the right headers at the top of the message. It's also possible to set default values for the entry security, comment policy, and icon. These values are used unless they're overridden by headers in the emailed entry.

I think it should also be possible to specify default tags. As with icons, it's plausible that people might want every one of their mobile posts to have the same tag - "mobile post", for example. The ability to set default tags would be especially useful for people who have a hard time remembering the right headers, and for people trying to post via email from their cell phone, where they might be limited in how many characters can be in the body of the message.

The only drawback I can think of would be that it would add yet another setting, but since the mobile settings page isn't cluttered and has a clear category for default settings, I don't think that adding one more line to that category would make the page too complicated.

Redirect /tos to /legal/tos

Area:
navigation, not getting lost

Summary:
Redirect visitors to http://www.dreamwidth.org/tos to the proper location, http://www.dreamwidth.org/legal/tos

Description:
People (ok, SporkyRat) keep going to /tos instead of /legal/tos. If this is a common mistake, it should redirect.

Architecture Astronaut Edition:
When someone with access to the server logs is bored enough, they should look through the 404s every few months to see which pages get commonly mis-entered, and look into making redirects, or otherwise changing things so the 404 hits go down.

Title:
Prevent OpenID relationships from cluttering profile pages

Area:
profile page

Summary:
On profile pages, relationships with DreamWidth accounts should stand out from those with OpenID accounts.

Description:
OpenID accounts that are given access tend to drown out actual DreamWidth accounts on the profile pages of people who used the import tool.

I suggest displaying DreamWidth accounts first, then OpenID accounts grouped by site, using the compact style — <user site="www.site.com" name="username" /> — for known sites.
