Title:
Ability to style crosspost links

Area:
crossposting

Summary:
I can make the crosspost link on the other end be small font or whatever; I just want the same deal on this end.

Description:
This is a little thing, but I like that the crosspost link on the LJ/other end of the crosspost is visually or stylistically distinct from the entry content--I can not only alter its content to a personal message, but make it tiny or--I haven't tried to fool with any other attribute, but there's a span tag there so there's a decent chance I could. I would like that to be true on this end, too, which it currently isn't. Ideal: just as customizable as the offsite link. Good: simple capacity to alter the font/color.

I'm so pleased that the new option exists I almost don't want to even be gripey about this little thing, but maybe it's an easy thing to fix.

Edit: as Afuna points out in the first comment, it's already possible to at least alter the size in the style. That's not as simple as the way there's a box right there in the crossposting setup for the external link, but is an existing option. :)

Title:
Collapse Cut button at end of cut

Area:
reading page, cut tags

Summary:
Little triangle to expand/collapse cuts on your reading page? Awesome? Another one at the bottom to collapse the cut again? Even awesomer.

Description:
So you just finished reading the huge tl;dr cut with the picture in the middle that broke your brain. Now you'd like to close it again, so you can scroll your reading page without pushing past blocks of text (and that hideous flashing animated GIF). Only problem is that to do so, you have to scroll back up (past the text and OMG why did anyone make that picture?! What warped, twisted soul... ARGH!) to the beginning of the cut in order to reach the incredibly spiffy yet totally unassuming little triangle which will save your reading page (and what's left of your sanity).

If only that triangle (whose awesomeness is inversely proportional to its tiny size) had the power to clone itself! Its identical twin, down at the bottom of the cut, silently, unobtrusively, steadfastly, and patiently waiting for the opportunity to serve. To be clicked, to be called to action! To heroically collapse that cut (the GIF, it burns!!), and, in so doing, rejoin the triangle (whose shining, sparkly goodness is inversely proportional to its monochrome... uhm... oh, never mind) at the top which spawned it.

Ah, if only.

Title:
Ajaxify "previous" link on reading pages

Area:
reading page, shiny magic

Summary:
Instead of having to go to another page to read older entries on your reading page, it should be possible to have them auto-expand on the same page with ajaxy magic.

Description:
Auto-expanding cut tags are the best thing since sliced removal of nudge. We should make more things auto-expand. Older entries on the reading page seems like a good plan to me. Possibly the same for journal pages as well, though that wouldn't be as useful to me personally. This is, I think, the one single thing that Facebook does that Dreamwidth doesn't that I actually like, so clearly we should introduce it so that we're better than Facebook in all ways and not just most ways. In addition to extra added awesomeness and magic, this may also encourage people to have fewer entries display on their reading page at once, thus saving bandwidth.
