Title:
Rename to Two Tags
Area:
tags
Summary:
Add an option in the tag manager that allows for renaming a tag while retaining the existing tag.
Description:
I would like there to be an option that allows for not simply renaming a tag, but for giving all entries with Tag A a Tag B as well. For example, if you had a tag personal:movies and you wanted to tag everything with the personal:movies tag as personal as well, you could use this option.
This would be helpful for those who use nested tags as in the example above, to quickly name all the subtags with the main tag as well. It would also be useful in other cases, for example, perhaps a user has meticulously tagged all of her fanfiction with a rating tag but then wants to add a general fanfiction tag. She could quickly add the tag "fanfiction" to everything also tagged "R."
I would envision this as just being an option in tag manager next to the rename tag button (perhaps "add an additional tag to these entries" or something like that). Then the user, like the rename tag option, could just type the additional tag.
