Remove feeds from "Recently Active" on stats page

Area:
stats

Summary:
Exclude feed updates from the "Recently Active" section on the stats page.

Description:
The stats page (http://www.dreamwidth.org/stats) has a section of "Recently Active Accounts". This currently includes syndicated feeds, which count as active whenever they're updated. This means you can't find the content that's actually produced on Dreamwidth. I'd suggest that feeds are excluded from that section.

Title:
Privacy Settings for Link List

Area:
privacy, security

Summary:
The link list in the sidebar/modules should be invisible for unregistered users /users not on your access list.

Description:
Currently, even when your journal settings are access list only, your link list (in the modules/sidebar) is visible for everyone. It should be visible for your access list only.

It works for the tags - in locked journals and communities they are invisible to others unless they are logged in members or have access. It should be possible to make the link list invisible like that, too, because just like the tags the link list can tell a lot about the content of the journal/community.

Right now I have to make a locked entry where I collect links and link to that on my links list if I want to keep it invisible for people I don't give access.

I have no idea if that's something simple to implement or not, but I do feel uncomfortable creating a link list as long as it's visible to everybody.

ETA: Just to clarify why I want this so bad - I run communities where people sometimes share media. It's all fine to tell them to member-lock their entries when posting media downloads, but I can't put media sharing sites in the links list because they will be open to the public. That's very inconvenient!

Title:
Auto-self-nudge

Area:
entries, account activity

Summary:
Remind me if I haven't updated for a time period I choose. Refinement: remind me if I haven't updated a community ditto.

Description:
Denise ripped out the original nudge, for which we thank her.

However, while others reminding you to do something can become obnoxious, reminding yourself of the same thing can be a great thing.

A feature where someone could get a customizable message sent to them when they haven't posted an entry in X length of time could be a good thing, if someone is lazy about updating and knows it.

It would only affect those who choose to use it, and the people who do not like it would only be affected if they accidentally turn it on, or if they notice that someone's updates are suspiciously three days apart every time.

A logical extension of it would be to remind someone to post to a community, either if a) they had not posted there in a while, or b) if no one had posted there for a while. Community admins would especially like the latter so if posting died out they could start to revive it before things got too dead.

Title:
create external link icon for websites

Area:
sidebars, design

Summary:
On many styles, there's nothing to indicate that the text in the sidebar is actually the website's link. Could we add an icon to those links?

Description:
The icon would indicate that a) the text really is a link even if the style doesn't reflect this, and b) that the link goes offsite. Examples of standard use:

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/64/Icon_External_Link.png
http://sils.unc.edu/redesign/IA/external_link_icon.gif

If it's set as default in the global CSS, it might be easier (maybe?) to make it apply without adjusting every style. Also, I don't know if it could be done as default icon (like the LJ/DW icons) in content text, but it'd at least be handy to have it on sidebars to indicate a user's website and which links in the sidebar are external.

ETA: Alternate might be to make it optional for users, to add it to their selected style?

Title:
Include layout and/or theme name in Layout Credit module

Area:
styles

Summary:
The Layout Credit module in S2 includes the author name and any "resources" but it would be even more useful if the name of the layout and/or theme were included as well.

Description:
Now that DW has a ton of new styles, it can be hard to figure out which style is in use on a given page. If you look at someone's journal and go "ooh, what a nifty style - I want to use that!" we need to make it easier to do so.

I suggest including at least the name of the Layout in the layout credit module, and possibly the name of the Theme as well, in order to facilitate these lookups.
