Title:
Add comment image to RSS feed

Area:
RSS, playing well with others, comments

Summary:
Add the comment count image to the RSS feed.

Description:
Crossposted entries now include the comment count, which is great for individuals crossposting. However, communities can't crosspost, and we can't crosspost to non-LJ/DW sites yet. However, lots of things can grab our RSS feeds, and, for those reading via RSS, the comment count would be helpful to display as well. It would give some idea if there was a lively conversation someone should click over to, which is especially important for anyone whose RSS feed is for full text, which discourages people from clicking back to Dreamwidth.

The drawback would be increased bandwidth. I suppose there's a sort of loss of privacy maybe? I don't know.

Title:
"Delete All" and "Refresh" at top of inbox

Area:
Inbox

Summary:
I suggest moving the "Delete All" button at the top of the inbox away from the "Refresh" link.

Description:
I'd like to suggest moving the "Delete All" button that's located at the top of the inbox away from the "Refresh | Manage Settings" links. The current layout has them fairly close to each other, and if a user isn't paying attention, it's a little too easy to hit "Delete All" rather than "Refresh."

The proximity issue is most prominent in the Celerity site scheme, since it has the vertical sidebar, but they're still pretty close in Tropospherical.

I'm not sure what the best solution might be--to reverse the positions of "Delete All" and "Mark All Read"? to move the "Refresh | Manage Settings" to the left instead of the right? To use some kind of <hr> rule to separate those two levels a little more prominently so that there's a clearer visual demarcation between them?

Spam Report Counts

Area:
anti-spam, user interface

Summary:
Provide a count of the spam reports for each view of them.

Description:
At the top and bottom of any given spam reports page listing the individual instances of reports about any given offender (both closed and open, in other words, and any future possible views), count the number of reports in this view and show that at the top and bottom of the page.

This may be Jossed if/when a new spam management interface comes about.

Subscribing to user should point you at reading filters; giving access point you at access filters.

Area:
filters, circle management

Summary:
Currently, when you subscribe to someone, the site asks if you want to give them access and presents your access filters for you to place them on. It should present your subscription filters instead.

Description:
The current behavior is legacy behavior because friending was unlocking and subscribing simultaneously. On Dreamwidth, it's clear that subscribing to an account is an indication that one wants to read the account, so we should present options for managing how it is read.

Of course, we should also say, "do you also want to give access?" and if they say yes, we can *then* move into a dialogue about access filters. But subscribing should default to subscription filters.
