Summary:
The birthdays on the logged-in homepage seem to currently be displaying with the soonest on bottom and the latest on top. I suggest having the soonest on top.

Description:
...And this feels so minor for a suggestion, but hey.

I looked at the list of birthdays, and said "ah, none until September," and then realized there was an August birthday below that. I think it would make much more sense to have them with the one that happens first on top. That way it is easier to notice and understand.

Ideally, of course, this should be an option, but having the soonest first sounds like a better default anyway.

I'm wondering if this is a bug -- my husband's birthday is today, and another friend's birthday is in two days, with a couple more beyond that through the end of the month. DH and the 8/13 birthday should still be at the top, but on the logged-in homepage, DH is already gone. If I go to the birthdays page, 8/11 and 8/13 have already been bumped to the bottom, and 8/14 and beyond are at the top.

I was told it was a bug. It is soonest first but the 3 or 4 days that are the real soonest are showing up on the bottom as if they've already passed.

Ah, that makes sense, the birthday I've got next is tomorrow.

Well, they let this suggestion through, so hopefully the bug will get fixed eventually.

Since this was actually a bug, it has since been released into the bug database: http://bugs.dwscoalition.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1610 and siomeone is already working on fixing this :)
