Notification when tags change on an entry

Title:
Notification when tags change on an entry

Area:
notifications

Summary:
Optional notification when tags on a post change, particularly when an admin changes the tags on your community post.

Description:
I just noticed that a load of suggestions had tags added to show if they've been migrated. And I realised that nothing told me when an admin added a tag to my own posts. I'd quite like to know when that kind of thing happens, just as when the mod cutting feature is added, I'd like to know if a mod adds a cut tag to my post, or changes its security. Can an optional notification be triggered when tags change on a post? It's also something I'd like to be able to track on other posts, just like tracking comments.

I have a community (closed membership) where only I have posting access. How would this affect me? Would I get a notification if I edited my own entries/tags in my community?

I suppose that could be an option as well.
What could be an option?

Ok, if you meant:
On the notifications settings page, there is a section called 'People and Communities'. If they add it as an option there: "notify me if a maintainer edits my entry/tag", I wouldn't mind it then, because I can de-select it.

Ugh. I generally hate things that depend on when you started your account at sites where having more than one account is feasible, because it can really throw you off to have worked with X method for 7 years, only to find out with your new account/RP character/whatever that 3 years ago, the default was changed to Y method and everybody's looking at you like you grew a third head.

I actually think most things should be opt-out unless they're going to have privacy/intellectual property implications. New features should not be feared, they should be vetted, tested, betaed, and modified as needed. :)
