Show communities modded/maintained on profile

Title:
Show communities modded/maintained on profile

Area:
profile, communities

Summary:
On the profile page, add a section for "maintainer of" along with "member of," "subscriptions," and "posting access."

Description:
On the profile page, where it lists communities, there are the categories "member of," "subscriptions," and "posting access." (Posting access is hidden from other users.)

I think it would be helpful/interesting to also have a section for "maintainer of."

Personally I, uh, sometimes forget how many communities I've got like that and I'd appreciate being able to see it on my profile instead of having to go to a community management page to get the list.

I also think it would be neat to see that info when viewing other users' profiles, to see which communities they mod/maintain. (Though I imagine not everyone agrees with that aspect and thus optionally this section could be hidden so that only the user can see their own list.)

This may or may not be complicated by the proposed increasing granularity in community management that has been discussed before.

I would like this, though I understand that the posting access list is hidden because of privacy concerns that can come with being member of certain communities for some people, so I assume that the default would have to be for this to be hidden, and you would need to choose to make it public. Otherwise it would break expected prior behavior, and reveal things users expected to be harder to find.

I don't know. You can allow posting from non-members in general and in the community management posting and membership are separate ticky boxes. I thought that communities could allow posting from individual non-members too, but I don't know for sure.

They can end up slightly different. Some communities let nonmembers post, although they don't get listed under posting access.

But, a community admin can take away a member's posting access, without taking away their membership.

As long as we have the option to hide the information from our profile.

Personally, I wouldn't want this - but if I can hide it, then I'm okay with it.
