Add "insert this DW-esque user" menu code to HTML editor.

Title:
Add "insert this DW-esque user" menu code to HTML editor.

Area:
update, user names, similar-site functionality

Summary:
Insert a DW-esque username-maker menu item to the HTML editor screen. This way, one can type in a username, pick which site, and it formats the username accordingly.

Description:
I wrote a script that adds a menu item to the HTML update page.  When I click on it, I enter in a username, then type in the initials of the site the user is at, and it adds the proper code to the draft body.

So if I type in 'the-xtina' and choose LiveJournal, I get:

<code>&lt;user name="the-xtina" site="livejournal.com" /&gt;</code>

I think this would be a useful thing, because that is kind of a mouthful to type.

The GM script:

The Rich Text Editor can do this - half the point of the HTML editor is that it is stripped-down and doesn't have a lot of extra buttons cluttering up the page. I would imagine that for the few people who do want just this script on the HTML editor, this is a prime candidate for [site community profile] dw_nifty, rather than being added to the whole site.

Seconding this. I already think the image insertion thing isn't needed, since that's better suited for the RTE. I just want a blank box I can type my HTML into :)

Oh yes! I never use the image insertion thingy.

I just wanted to thank [personal profile] nonethefewer because that GM script is so handy for people like me who tend to mess up their html very often. :D

Personally, I wouldn't mind if it were added to the HTML editor too.
