When uploading images, display most recent upload at top

Title:
When uploading images, display most recent upload at top

Area:
Upload Images page

Summary:
On the wonderful, amazing new image upload page, it would be nice to be able to immediately tell if the correct image uploaded. Changing the display so the most recent image is on top would fix this.

Description:
Most of the time when I use the image upload page, it's from my phone camera, on a tiny mobile screen. Currently, when I'm uploading multiple images, the only way to tell if an image was correctly uploaded is to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see it, and then scroll back to the top to upload the next image. This quickly gets tedious with more than a couple images. If the new image preview appeared directly below the upload box, it would be immediately visible and make workflow much smoother on mobile. I can't think how it would make it harder for anyone. (If that's not technically doable for some reason, any kind of upload confirmation that is visible near the upload box on mobile would be nice.)

I'm not sure what the current sorting is - whether it's simply order of upload, with latest at the bottom, or something else.

If it's already order of upload, I suggest simply reversing the order to show newest first. If there's some other sorting in place, then I suggest keeping that but above it adding a new section showing either the most recent upload when there is one in the last 24 hrs, or the most recent n that are less than 24 hrs old (where n is 3-5,depending on size)

Selectable search order seems like a more flexible fix to this problem.

I don't know if they are or not. Just seems in general the better solution to any "Some are complaining about this way" is "let them choose which way" rather than "make it the other way."

Yes, please -- more than once I've uploaded the same image more than once because it looked like it wasn't there, because it never occurred to me to look all the way down at the bottom (which requires scrolling).

That would make its behavior different from the icons page (oldest first), wouldn't it? I understand the annoyance, but I think I want those two to function the same way. Multiple sort options (chrono ascend/descend, keywords/descriptions, etc) probably would be better, I think.
