Summary:
Change the text of the "Upload Icons" link in the navigation to more accurately reflect the use for that page.

Description:
In the links, the link to manage icons is called Upload Icons. Other places where you can change things are called Edit and Manage. "Upload Icons" makes it sound like that's where you go to upload, but somewhere else to Manage them. I suggest the text of the link be renamed to "Manage Icons".

If this were done, it would seem to makes sense to move it from the Create menu to the Organize menu, too. (I'll admit, that's the first place I look when wanting to edit/upload icons and I always find that it's not there...)

That would make sense to me, too.

Yes, I've always thought it was misplaced under "create" as I don't think of it as creating content. (Neither is Edit Profile really a "creating" activity to me.)

I've never really thought of either of those as 'creating', either.

That said, to be fair, the menu positions weren't done on a whim - it was the result of a rather lengthy card sort process, and the menu scheme that was chosen (including the icon uploading option being under Create) was the one that worked best.

On the other hand, the Import Content option appeared later, after the card sort. For this reason I suspect it'd be more likely that ninetydegrees's proposed move of Import Content from Manage to Create would be more likely to be considered than the moving of Upload Icons.

Doesn't stop me from putting it out there to see what people think of the idea, though! I just know it's a little unlikely to happen.
