Links List on switching layouts
Title:
Links List on switching layouts
Area:
links lists
Summary:
If a user has more than 10 links (including blank spaces for headers) in their links list, on switching layouts, a user loses links 11 onwards. Could there be some way to change things so that a user doesn't lose links?
Description:
If a user has more than 10 links (including blank spaces for headers) in their links list, on switching layouts, a user loses links 11 onwards. Could there be some way to change things so that a user doesn't lose links? I recently changed layouts, not realising that I'd lose a good portion of my links list in doing so, and I don't suppose I'm the only one - and I don't know if there's any way to go back and get them again.

We're planning on revamping that page and making it more user friendly at some point (hopefully).
But the links list is, theoretically, separate from the Style, and shouldn't be getting lost, at all. This is a bug, and one I'd not seen before, it may be linked to free/paid status, but I forget off hand how many links a free account get.

I've got a paid journal, and although it did lapse for a brief time (a day or so) I switched layouts after I went back to Paid status. And I never went up to whatever the Paid maximum is anyway, only using up another seven or eight spaces.
I managed to restore the lost links because I'd linked to them elsewhere, but I'm not sure I got all of them, and it may well happen to someone else who can't remember all their links.
Edit: I have reported it as a bug, as suggested, so I'm pretty sure it's going to get looked into. I love DW - everyone's so nice! :D

Currently, my account isn't paid (haven't got around to going to the right page, will do it in a bit). I know that when I repay, I also have to go to the icon upload page to remind it I'm allowed 100 icons.
I wonder if this might be a similar thing, it sounds like it. Regardless, it's definitely a bug that needs fixing.
