"undo" in inbox, or maybe trash folder

Title:
"undo" in inbox, or maybe trash folder

Area:
inbox

Summary:
If you happen to delete a message you didn't want to delete there is no way to get it back that I know of. It would be nice if the inbox had an undo button, or if there was a trash folder that maybe kept deleted messages for a little while. (Maybe for a log-in session?)

Description:
On my laptop screen size in the inbox the "delete selected" button is not right of the "mark unread" but is fluidly put directly below the "mark read" button. Yesterday I selected a message and thanks to some sort of trackpad accident I clicked the "delete" rather than the "mark read" button above the delete (my trackpad is not as precise or responsive as I'd like sometimes, also tapping it functions as clicking, so accidents happen). There was no way to undo the accidental delete, or to recover the message from a trash folder or the like. It would be nice if this was possible.

I think it's safe to permanently delete messages from the Trash folder after a period of time. People would be able to retrieve accidentally-deleted messages then, but wouldn't have to confirm deletion of an earlier message a couple weeks later (which seems like it could be annoying, especially if it created the following notification loop).

"I am a message!"
(message is deleted, time goes by)
"You have one or more messages in your Trash folder that will be purged in 10 days"
(this notification message is deleted, time goes by)
"You have one or more messages in your Trash folder that will be purged in 10 days"
(ad infinitum, or until you stop deleting messages)
