I'm in two minds about this. On the one hand it's annoying when people uses meaningful cut text but don't remember to put the same text after the cut too so you've got no idea what they're talking about if you've had a tag open for a while before looking at it. On the other it would probably be a nightmare to implement any sort of backwards compatibility, not to mention cross site.
