Maybe a couple of blank lines? Maybe list it first?

I think I've clicked on that link Every Single Time I've wanted to reply to a comment.

I'd just like to note that the problem is even more pronounced when you're using a touch interface, and the text links are small.

Exactly, it's no problema ta ll for me on my browser, but on my Nokia it's a PITA to make sure I hit the right button.

This. I don't use this feature on my phone right now but I feel very strongly it should be fixed - links to close together are a major problem on touch interfaces, especially small ones such as phones.

Not that I've had that issue recently on other things on my phone. Oh no. *glowers*

I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I am going to make a suggestion to rearrange the links on posts and comments, because navigation is mixed up with reader actions is mixed up with admin stuff, and it's just a big old mess.

Oh, totally this! It would be great to see something done about it. :)

This is in the HTML formatted mails, right? Because I use text-only mail and this suggestion makes no sense for that.

I use text-only mail too, and still have the problem the OP describes on occasion. I see something like this in Thunderbird:

- Reply at the webpage:
http://shyfoxling.dreamwidth.org/244761.html?replyto=748825
- Delete the comment:

I mis-click from time to time and it'd be nice to just have a few blank lines in there or something. Or maybe put an extra space between the lines for all four of the options (view thread, view entry, reply, delete).

I always use the first of the options (the 'view thread beginning with this comment' one) for that very reason, yeah. :)

I'm so stupid! I was looking at LJ's mail, not DW's, no wonder it didn't make any sense to me. You're totally right about the placements in the DW mail of course.
