Summary:
Add line numbers, highlight the line where an error was found, add a second Save & Compile at the bottom, add a link to public layers, option to colorize some elements (such as the words 'function' and 'propgroup' or commented lines).

Edit: for coloring, maybe something like the syntax highlighted view of source layers.

Description:
Is there any other 'small' change you can think of? Maybe a search field. You can do that with Ctrl+F but maybe a field would be nice anyway.

Don't want to clutter it up too much (I do most of my work on a 1024*600 netbook), so probably not a search box, I'd use ctrlF anyway, but syntax highlighting, line numbers and a save/compile button somewhere useful would be good.
