The account settings page, 'other sites' tab shows other sites, and 'crosspost by default' is shown in the table and can be checked / unchecked, but 'display crosspost links' can neither be seen nor edited from that page - you have to use the change link for each account.

Description:
I read the code tour that bug 2361 was fixed in and was VERY happy as I've wanted that. And then I couldn't find it. The bug writeup said:

This automatically creates links from your entry on Dreamwidth to your crossposted entries. It's a per-account option (so you can choose to link to some, but not all, places you crosspost to). Go to your crosspost settings, and edit each account to "Display Cross Post Links". It will show up for any entry that you post or edit, after you check the checkbox, but not for anything before that. This is disabled by default so we don't spring surprises on you.

This is good, but I went there and saw the checkbox on the main form for the one option but not the new one, and wondered why it had been backed out before the code push, because it clearly wasn't there. I didn't actually even notice the change link (because I am inattentive, and was looking for a ticky box). I went back to reread the original code tour, returned to the page, and still missed the change link. I tried hitting 'new' to see what I got, saw the additional option, went back again, and finally noticed the change link.

I'd like to see it pushed onto the main form, or something on the main form to indicate what's back there (but honestly, since it's not optional each time you write a post, being able to easily see its value for all accounts would be good). For a new setup, it will be immediately obvious in the workflow, but for editing existing ones or checking on them, it's hard to find.

Possible issues are screen real estate, but then, "Crosspost by Default" is presently using quite a bit for the heading for a single ticky-box....

I wrote the code tour, and I had a bit of a time finding it.

I find this oddly reassuring, in that I'm not alone in finding it hard. :)

Aye; I didn't find it when I was looking for it, and I pay attention. Guarantee a lot of more casual users won't notice it's an option at all, some of whome might find it very useful.
