Allow a comment to an entry to be sent as a PM

Summary:
If we had the option to reply to comments in our own journals in the form of a PM to the person who commented as well as in the form of a comment, it would be cool.

Description:
This is not a problem-solving suggestion. But there are times that you want to respond to a comment privately, either to provide sensitive information or just to tell the person to STFU without embarassing them. Or even to provide sekrit information that the other people reading your journal can't see. And it's a PITA to have to hunt your way over to their journal and construct a PM when you could just have one-touch shopping.

And if doing that didn't unscreen their comment -- if you happen to have all comments screened -- that would be even more awesome! It would be a way to reply to unscreened comments without opening the thread of discourse for general view.

Yes, this version, because it so very much doesn't seem at all logical to have a reply to you screened so you can't see it, when it's a reply to you.

I'm all for private commenting, but not-so-much the inclusion of a PMing link. If you need a link to PM someone with, they're not that hard to navigate to.

No, not that hard to navigate to, but that doesn't mean it would hurt to make it easier by including it a few more places.

No, you're right, a few other places probably wouldn't hurt, but not in places where it's going to result in a cluttered look (e.g. I could live with this being under the "more options" button/link, but not in the quick reply box, 'cause I think that's already full enough).

"More options" could indeed be a logical location.

I also prefer PCs to PM-links; less confusing, more elegant (threaded discussion FTW!)
