The suggestions post

Soon (for certain values of 'soon'), there will be a "suggestions generator", where you fill out forms and it will post an entry to this community for you, for discussion and the like.

Until then, if you've got something you'd like to suggest for Dreamwidth, you can leave it as a comment here! You can review our development roadmap explanation first, since it includes a lot of our upcoming big projects.

The Suggestions Generator is now live! Please fill out that form instead.

In the meantime, consider bookmarking a quick table of hexadecimal colour codes - no memorizing needed!

The table of HTML color codes doesn't tell me which color is "Purple, Wine" on the LJ color chart.

It's been odd--sometimes I get the color selection chart I'm used to; sometimes I get the click-open window with too many color selections. I'm trying to figure out if that's on my end (I've been moving between three different computers--all with Firefox 2.0.0.20, but slightly different addons), or if it matters where I was on DW when I clicked on "Subscribe."

It seems to matter where you were on DW when you clicked Subscribe. I'm blanking on which and the cat is putting his cold, wet nose on my wrist and grabbing my arm, so I can't check... But I'm pretty sure it's based on where you subscribed from.

Irksome. I'd like to have both options available from each point-of-subscription, for greater nuance of color on my reading list.

It's very much dependent on where you do it from.

Icon-hover popup? No option for setting colors, which makes some sense, but makes me forget to do it later.

"Grant access" from the user/comm's profile seems to default to going to the Subscribe page, which has a tickybox for opening up the color dialog.

Earlier today, it seemed like the Subscribe page was giving a different page than Grant Access, but now they look the same... maybe it was for feeds.

And, of course, 's original complaint is about the Manage Circle page, which gives an entirely different result. I agree that you should be able to use the 'default' colorwords in place of the rainbow selector.
