One-click tool to delete all inactive subscriptions

Title:
One-click tool to delete all inactive subscriptions

Area:
notifications

Summary:
A button to delete all inactive (un-ticked) subscriptions on http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/settings/?cat=notifications

Description:
So, I've finally hit the lovely high notifications limit. I can go down the list and untick the ones I no longer need, and that's great, but then they're all cluttering up the list. Deleting them one-by-one takes forever. I would love a button to delete all inactive subscriptions at once. It would probably need a confirmation, since I wouldn't want to do it by accident, but it would save a lot of time.

It would probably also be worth picking up at least some of the elements from LJ's refactoring of ESN. OMG YOU GUYS THEY ARE MAKING THE INBOX OPTIONAL SPLITTING UP SOME CRUCIAL SUBSCRIPTIONS AND GETTING AJAXY SUBSCRIPTION DELETE. (Let's hear it for [personal profile] andy!)

i would simply like the ability to pick all of the subscriptions i want to delete, and then delete them. there's a firefox add-on that does this for lj (which is also very glitchy for me; i would love to have it as an official option).

the problem with deleting ALL unchecked boxes is that you may want to keep those subscriptions saved so that if you move to a higher account level you can activate them again, but still be able to perform a mass action on other subscriptions.
