Regular interface for leaving deleted communities/journals

Title:
Regular interface for leaving deleted communities/journals

Area:
subscriptions, reading page

Summary:
Currently one must use the admin console to leave a deleted community. This seems needlessly complicated, and it would be much better from a usability standpoint if you could unsubscribe/leave a community in the usual manner even if the community was deleted. Subscribing would of course not work.

Description:
According to http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=193, one must use the admin console to leave a deleted community (and presumably, to unsubscribe from a deleted user, though I haven't tested that and it's not a FAQ entry). This seems like overkill for the average user when http://www.dreamwidth.org/community/leave?comm=<commname> already exists and could be reworked.

I found http://bugs.dwscoalition.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1499 to be a related suggestion for overhauling Manage/Circle/Edit, but the single-page version could definitely use this functionality as well.

Communities are listed on the Circle page, and you can leave them from there: http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/circle/edit

Nope, you can only unsubscribe from them there. Which is very unfortunate :/.
