(as admin) is currently only displayed after's one username if the comment isn't collapsed. I think it could be useful to spot admin comments at a glance instead of having to expand everything.

What is this "as admin" text? Where/how does it show? I have never seen it. My comments in the community I admin aren't marked in any way. Is this for site admins?

Do these always have this ugly red thing in the text or is that customizable? What is that icon supposed to signify anyway? (Sorry, but that thing just looks so horrible that I wouldn't want to use this feature if it showed that, even if I like the idea of making clear when I talk as an admin).

I thought I read somewhere (bugzilla? Not sure) that this was originally intended, but that it was found to be impractical.

Not sure though, and I'm in favour if it can be done.
