kyrielle: painterly drawing of a white woman with large dark-blue-framed glasses, hazel eyes, brown hair, and a suspicious lack of blemishes (Default)

Seriously, my browser can't resist spell-checking what I type as I type it. I never use the spell-checking (sorry, my browser dislikes spellchecking...) in the form, and back when browser spell-check wasn't a thing, I STILL almost never used it because the extra page was annoying...and that was in a day/age when an extra page was "reasonable workflow" which it really, IMO, is not now.

I don't mind having it there if it fits (I can ignore it, after all!), but I see no reason to keep it.

(I also find it weird that it's a check box and then you have to pick something else to go forward, vs a button to check your spelling, but maybe that's just me.)
