screening

Title:
screening

Area:
entries

Summary:
take you back to the post after commenting in a screened post

Description:
when a post is being screened, if you comment in it currently, after posting it takes you to a page that says "successfully posted!". to get back to the post you have to hit the back button twice.

this is real obnoxious in large communities when you want to reply to several different comments and there is constant activity

it would be great if it would just take you back to the post automatically, or have a button on the successfully posted page that returns you to the post (and the page you were on)

thank you!

My "with changes" is to add a button or link that would take you back to the post. I don't want to skip the "successfully added a screened comment" page altogether.

Agreed :D I want to be told it's a screened comment but I always want to go back afterwards to make sure it is really there and I haven't made any ridiculous mistakes in the comment! A link would be very helpful.

My "with changes" is that it should take you back to the post, but display a message saying "Your comment was submitted, but has been screened" or similar *inline*, where the comment would be, with styling to make it stand out clearly as a message from the system.

This is my "with changes," as long as you can also see the contents of the comment you submitted (and the content comments would be in the regular page style).

Not 'where the comment would be' - in addition to. What do most users want to do after commenting? a) get feedback that the comment was posted (and in this context, also that it was screened), and b) read on.

You kind of suggested two solutions here so my "as is" is for your second suggestion, to add a link to go back to the post you were on. I wouldn't want to be automatically redirected.

I want to be told explicitly that it was screened, but then I want the shortest route back to exactly where I was before posting it, preferably showing my new comment screened-wise.
