As we know, remote site user name linking works for any site where users can be found at www.[service.tld]/user/[name], even if it isn't set up so there's a site-specific user-head to link there.
AS WE KNOW?? I went looking all OVER the FAQs for official statements on what format a userprofile link could be in! (I wanted to suggest deviantart as a supported profile thinger but couldn't figure out if its profile formatting was valid.) Couldn't locate it anywhere. Does the www.[service.tld]/user/[name] require "user" or can it also be "users"? Or is that sort of niggling difference going to be handled by the linked future bugfix?
