Day of Week in header

Title:
Day of Week in header

Area:
entries

Summary:
Add the day of the week to the date/time stamp on entries.

Description:
A small thing I keep wishing for: Where Dreamwidth displays the date and time of an entry, could it also display the day of the week? I'm forever behind on my reading list, and knowing that June 30th was a Wednesday without having to go hunt down a calendar would make me feel a little less disconnected.

I think this should be codeable in S2 anyway, if it's not we ought to try to make it so, but it should be a layout option, not a system default.

I think it already is, actually, just not presented in the Wizard.

I'd like it for site-schemed pages, though.

I was actually thinking in terms of just making it an option for S2 functions that designers can choose to use, adding it as an option for all the styles might be a lot of work, but that wouldn't be my call.

For some reason, I thought I'd seen some LJ styles doing it, but can't find any currently.

I see a tag here that this feature was implemented - but cannot find it in my style. how do I find it - or code it in custom?
thanks for the help!
