I think it would be neat if you could see how many posts were made on a day in a journal when hovering over the calendar in the sidebar.

Description:
Right now you see the day as a link if there are posts, not linked if there are none, and the number of posts only in the full calendar/archive view where the number of posts is shown below the day.

I would like it if the number would also be displayed in the sidebar calendar for just the current month, but since the dates themselves are the links there, I imagine it as a hover text saying something like "X posts" when hovering over a date link.

The only downside I can think of is that some people may loathe hover text on principle.
