Thanks! Those are actually live, you can hit my LJ and see it. (Also, I cleaned up the login pane as well.) There are parts that are not where I'd like them to be and I don't know that I can get them there because there aren't enough IDs and/or classes - in some places, not even paragraph tags.

(I didn't even have to change the gradient - I'm just working with it more intentionally, so it pops as a result.)
