Sorry, yes, they are - they started out different because I was intending case (3) to maybe ACTUALLY have an auto-delete/self-destruct setting, but then we discussed it a bit more in IRC and decided that auto-delete was something we probably didn't actually want but the changes didn't propagate! :-)
