I go to Latest to see all of those things. I want to see the pictures and I want to poke at entries in different languages.

I'm not as against having a NSFW filter - but are we sure it doesn't do that already? If your settings have been set not to see NSFW, do you see it on the Latest page? I'm also not against having user icons on the Latest page, but mostly, this sounds like options, options, options, and I'd rather have none of it than just the bits I'm okay with.
