azurelunatic suggested integrations with the [lj-spoiler] tag. [lj-spoiler] does work in comments, and Dreamwidth doesn't currently have a cut-tag for comments. This is something I would find useful, and also something that I would be interested in contributing development effort to (though I would need help on where to start!).
